1. Aims: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to
a. Knowledge
- Read the passage to understand the details.
- The present perfect tense used to describe actions beginning in the past and continuing up to the present moment (and possibly into the future) Have/has + PII
- Know more about the “ao dai” - the traditional dress of Vietnamese women.
b. Skills
Practice and improve all skills.
c. Behavior
Love their traditional dress.
2. Preparation
a. Teacher: Text book; Teaching plan; pictures of some traditional clothes of some people in the world. (getting started)
Organizing form: I – W; P – W and G - W
b. Students: Text book; notebook; school things; prepare well for new lesson (traditional clothes of some countries in the world, especially Ao dai of Viet Nam).
3. Procedure

T: Greet and check the attendance.

a. Check the old lesson (5’)
* Question: Say "wishes" in these situations: (2 Sts)
1. You don`t have a motorbike.
2. You are not strong.
3. You don`t live in a big house.

2. I wish I were strong.
3. I wish I live in a big house.
4. I wish I sang well.
T: Remark and mark. (5 points for each right answer)
* Warm up (7’)
Chatting
T: Have Sts work in pairs to look at the pictures that the teacher has prepare and ask and answer the questions like these:

? Where does he / she come from?
- Give Sts some words refer to clothes if necessary:

+ a sari
+ a veil
+ jeans
Sts: Work in pairs to do the task.
